This happened at the Rallysprint hey?
Yeah was at the rally sprint but at that point I was over not being able to drive the car since the new motor went in as I never ran good.. forever chasing the misfire in the upper rev range
Why the 12mm oil pump? I think the 12mm oil pump may have contributed to me killing my last engine.
Going down this line as my last pump was a 11mm and the guy who rebuilt the heads runs the same in a 2.5 with sillier cams as mine

lasted even shorter than mine!horrible luck mate! i got 17k out of my forged setup before it went poop on the highway. also back on the build. im doing things differently this time and the oil+cooling system will be cranked up to 11 as well. this is its last life before i drive it off a jetty/cliff

i went no as was on the top end of my already high budget.
here i am.
ill pass on round 2as i found someone who will build me a lot more for a lot less.
cant really wave pitchforks anyways as dont know what went wrong.
engine was fine as day i got it went it popped.. maybe bad fuel from cataby, maybe the pickup let go..
ill post reports on it and new build on my thread when its happening

You'll never get a warranty on a performance/modified engine apart from workmanship. I've got you beat too... my engine lasted 9,000km but having said that it was "only" a head gasket and not dokdok. The engine has been stripped completely for peace of mind and the crank and big end bearings all look good. I dare say due to good tuner...
