Hmm as for the wildly different turbo sizes there is a reason behind that, I haven't yet made my mind up on the power figures I'm chasing and what kind of power I'm chasing low down, mid range etc etc

And as for the ecu choices Ive always been told microtech and haltech were good ecu's i have also given some thought to Power FC.

And as the forgies in a ej207 block, I'm a mechanic so i dont see the big problem in upgrading, i want it to be a bullet proof motor so...Do it once... Do it right...

I admit I'm new to the Subaru game (my background is rotaries and sr20's) so I'm open to suggestions etc

Stock ej207 will handle almost anything so i wouldnt worry about upgrading.

Also i have heard those 2 ecus are crappy. Go power fc or similar. Better yet talk to your prefered tuner. He will give great advice.
