Default Baggys MY97 Hatch "Rebecca"

Thought i better start a little build thread for my beast or rebecca as i have named her lol, shes prety much a stocker at the moment but i have big plans for rebecca, shes done some prety high kilometers 245xxxkms so i plan on getting my hands on a ej207 block and building that from scratch with forged internals and some decent sized cams with a big dirty turbo. She sits on 17" speedy rims which i have painted black.

Shopping list:

*3" TBE (have a 3'" xforce dump pipe)
*Aftermarket ecu either Microtech or Haltech
*Ej207 Block
*forged internals
*Cams (havent decided yet)
*Tomie valve springs
*Td06 or VF24 or VF23
*Super low king springs (coilies later on down the track)
*Straight cut 1st-4th gear set ppg
*whiteline suspension ugrade
*reverse mounted intake manifold
*front mount
*un-equal length headers
*38mm external gate

unfortunately im only a secound year apprentice mechanic so money is tight and the build is going to be long-ish, but i can do all the work my self which saves alot of money for labour

heres some recent pics before the rims where painted black

Autronic/Motec/Power FC?

As has been mentioned, wildly different sized turbo's?

Why would you put forged internals into a 207 block? They are very strong straight from the factory as they already use forged pistons etc?

Other than that... Welcome

My thoughts entirely, when I was still living over east I considered a Microtech, but with an impending move to WA, P-Diddy swayed me into another option. At the time I'm sure someone mentioned there were very few people who would tune them, although this may have changed nowadays.

But welcome none the less, everyone likes a classic!
