Nothing. Don't see the point of a tune for a stock car though.

To get more power and economy by tuning out factory richness in place for tolerances? ie. every car off the production line is different, so the factory tune is rich/safe to account for this.

EDIT: wait, was your tune a custom/dyno jobbie?

Back on Track..

After driving the Chum Bucket today - I have decided that my original plans for a 6 Speed are indeed good ones!

So - After the body touchups, and my Work Trip, itll be 6 Speed STi Gearbox with Whiteline Products all round, 18 inch wheels, and some real rubber.

Had massive grip problems today on the track - As much as I want the official V6 STi Wheels - I think I need to go something a bit more modern to get the best out of the car.

Also will be giving the suspension an overhaul.

But yea the 6 speeds are amazing compared to the stock wrx 5. Feels like it has a short shifter in comparison.

I've got 18's on my GC8, but if I did it again I would get 17's. Much better range of tyres, much more comfort driving etc etc etc.

Or if you want grip for the track grab some 16's with R-comps and leave the bling wheels for the daily stuff.
