What's wrong with giving out the printout of the actual runs?

Yes you are right.
The vehicle started missing at about 3900rpm and got worse passing through 4200rpm. There was also some form of ecu rev cut at 4750rpm. I backed of the pedal so as not to cause any damage to the vehicle. Going for further WOT at this stage was deemed dangerous and pointless. The tune from this Martin guy, unfortunately was just entirely out of whack. Last edited by mao; 28-06-2011 at 01:22 AM. Reason: more details |

I would have only given a printout up until the point where you decided to stop.
The rest of it makes Mr Squiggle look like a mensa student and will only confuse the person having the dyno run as it has nothing to do with the bad tune.

You would have? LOL
Without knowing the control procedure of the dyno and the control environment, you shoot your mouth off? Stop going menstral with your fantasies. |

Well what is the point of providing a graph to a customer who potentially knows nothing about dynos showing squiggly lines of your operator backing off and blipping the throttle?
Wouldn't it be better to just give him the information of the power run to see what the tune is actually doing? Protip: Don't abuse moderators like I'm some dumb monkey and you are a genius. If you were a normal user you would be banned right now. You don't know me and if you think having some pissy dyno makes me jealous of you, you've got another thing coming.

We were commissioned for a power run on a tune not done by us. Safety of my customer's car comes takes precedence over everything else.
FYI, the initial power run is part of the graph and the rest were comparison graphs. Learn to read graphs first then finish your schooling, after that come talk to me. |

Let it go Kato, it is not your buisness that is having irreperable damage done to it by acting like that infront of your customers, if he wants to come on here and act like that i say let him, we will see in 6 months if he still has a business!
After some of the posts i have seen from him i wouldn't be going there, and some responses i have seen would indicate that i am not alone!

Mao, give it a break.
I'm willing to bet I have more schooling than you can dream of. I thought name calling finished in primary school. Mind explaining to everyone what the big loop is in the middle of the graph? And what that shows of the customer's car and the tune?

Mao went to EFI Uni. Kato is a sexy genius.
I just went to the school of hard knocks. FML P.S. I wouldn't have bothered printing out the graph at all. Just explain to customer that it didn't work for some reason and give him his money back while trying to figure out what went wrong so I could get his money and give him a tune he wants instead of a Jackson Pollock. The end.
