So I thought I would do a quick update on the Mardis Gras Car.

I went to No Limits for Variety WA event with the car plastered in stickers.

There was plenty of interest in the three cars and they looked awesome/terrible depending on your point of view.

We started on the long track and on my first run the car felt really good.
I was pleasantly surprised with the noticeably improved response from the
new headers/up-pipe/TBE combo as I hadn't noticed much difference on the street.

Second run on the long track I scalped two Evos (an 8 and a 9) one lap after the other so that made me very happy.

By the third run I had my Long Track time down to a 73.6 which I was pleased with as my last timed go on Long Track back in May my best was an 89.8

However it seems to be Short Track that everyone cares about.
I was really chuffed with how I went on the Short Track.

It's great to see my practice paying off and my driving improving.
I bettered my previous best 3 times over but more importantly, each run I put together three really consistent times which is a first for me.

Here's how they went:

Run 1: 1:02.9701 / 1:02.4940 / 1:02.4220
Run 2: 1:01.0722 / 1:01.0942 / 1:01.3092
Run 3: 1:00.3941 / 1:00.2478 / 0:59.9831

Before Thursday my best was a 1:03.9365

I can't wait for the next event on the 6th of December.

What mods are you running to get that 60sec?
