Yeah I was going to post yesterday that surely if the welds fail it's because of shitty steel or shitty welding.

What does BSOD stand for?
don't worry, just googled it

Hahah you obviously don't teach I.T. at school.

I'm scared of these new upgrades you are getting. Should be plenty fast next time I see you at track!

Haha, I don't think the gauges will make me go any faster.

Exhaust will make the car plenty loud (I'll finally sound like a race car when at the track) we'll have to see how much difference it makes to the power once it's on.

To wire up the af gauge all you need to do is splice into the standard sensor

Water temp sensor is easy, you could either get a sandwich plate for your top radiator hose or screw the sensor into the standard temp sensor position on the block. Oil pressure sensor you can bolt into a gallery plug towards the back of the block near the clutch slave

This link should help a little

But aren't the standard sensors narrow band as opposed to wide band?

Correct. Narrowband = waste of time.
You want to purchase and install a wideband o2 sensor, but you need to leave the narrowband one for the factory ecu to do its thing.
Does your dump pipe have the provision for a second exhaust bung ?
