To stop the understeer (from what I understood) you have to treat the WRX like a FWD and beef up the rear sway. Not too much or it oversteers.

So I presumed a 22F/24R was a pretty decent daily set-up, which is what I ended up getting.

Looks amazing man. You are now my inspiration in life. Gonna have to start making some calls.

Need to hit a track day and confirm the new settings hey Craig? Certainly goes against conventional thinking with regards to sway bars.

Is the bigger turbo inlet worth getting for a VF52 turbo? or it wont change much difference in air flow.

Probably better to get the 3" inlet with a turbo upgrade?

24/22 will be optimum for a daily GH/GR chassis.

Everyone is just applying GC/GD knowledge to the wrong chassis.

I have Cusco 27mm front and 25mm rear on the Evo, so a large front bar is nothing new :D

Front to soft, rear to hard. Find a 45 degree bend. Flat in 5th.

No idea dude, it never got installed as it was found to be the wrong one. If/when I chuck a TD05 in it I might look at getting an AVO silicone turbo inlet but next on the list are:

* other various small Whiteline products
* clear ice white bulbs for the parking lights as they look shit next to the xenon
* satin black sti spoiler
* rims (leaning towards black now instead of white)

oh, and to get around to Mutch's and andrewp to pick up flaps and tailight overlays.

Some minor cosmetic improvements were made last night with generous help and expertise from SOKSTA. Thanks also to Owen @ Meltham Motors for sorting out the paint on the chrome garnish and spoiler.

Next step will be overlays and possibly vinyl wrapping the roof.

steve-lang 09-06-2012 03:23 PM

If you are vinyl wrapping roof. Im keen to do mine also. Looks sweet mate. Get those overlays on.

If I do the roof it'll be done by Gav @ GT Graphics. I'm definitely not trying to do it myself.
