I'm personally just partial to 17s. Makes for a nice phat tyre. Race car. :P And gives you more tyre to protect the wheel from light kerb touches.

The GCs tend to suite 17s better than GDs do though, Lud, due to the smaller-looking arches (as opposed to the Gds looking like the need an 18" wheel at least... IMO). Your GC-era Lib has you used to looking at the smaller arches + wheels I suppose?

18s on gd are a good match.
