One thing to consider Mitch is do you really want a modded daily? To be brutally honest, I had forgotten how good the unmodified car was and how uncomfortable the car had become for day to day driving. If you are in a financial position to do so, get a toy car to tweak. That's what I'm doing (with an ovlov of all things).

On the upside you should have the twin scroll sump, so if you go down that path, one less thing to worry about doing.

A $60K STi has now been raced (ie: thrashed) and now worth a lot less.

So you paid 2k for your GC on that same principle? Or were you assured that it had never been thrashed by the previous owner?
