Depends TJ.

Usually they're held on with a screw on one/both ends and clips or a lip to secure the mould to outer door skin.

If they've been removed before they generally come off quite easily but if its the first time they've been taken off they can be quite resilient.

I've not taken any off a Subaru before but when sourcing another check to see if the clips/lip 'what ever is applicable', are still intact. Sometimes they can be replaced and other times you need to use different measures.

Considering hes just pulled the car apart and put most of it back together, if he says they arnt too hard then Ill go with what he says.
