Build quality shits over subaru imo. Ill put an interior pic up and you'll see. Has done 160k km though but no signs of any problems and all electronics work perfectly fine. And yea my parents are the franchisees for that store, I just work there for the time being.

Fuck, great find! They were going for at least 22+ for avg/high km in Perth when I was looking, even the ones over east were at least 20k for anything decent.. you found a bargain!

Yeah thought so. Was with Alex and Mike last night and Al said your folks owned it. That's good enough for me. I go in there all the time, and we are going to make it a regular thing. Always pull up out the front in the WRX, hoping you'll see me and say something, rather than the other way around

Subaru to Euro - totally acceptable

Now run off to a German tuning house website and starting playing or is that paying

An average subaru might be cheaper to fix but I doubt my previous one was. Even then the ongoing costs of insurance, fuel, servicing, frequency of fuckups are far cheaper than the wrx. I just had a major service (timing belt, water pump and all that goodness) done for $900 at quattro motors so Im not complaining. Audi dealership asked for $2k for the same thing and even $600 for a interval 1 service. So thats prob why people think Audis costs a lot to maintain.

No plans for mechanical mods yet, its not a performance car and doesnt really need it. Probably will get it flashed, exhaust, intake and some springs in the future one day. But Im enjoying having a fuel effeciency thats more that twice as good at the moment
