Yeah, my muffler looks pretty much identical, but the tip is different and the weld is cleaner. Nice bug though dude, real nice.

Any issues keeping that front lip in place, ultrex prodrive style one i assume?

I had one and lost it, it came with double sided tape which simply is not enough.

Thanks man Much appreciated.

Correct, it wasn't fond of staying in place, came off a week after attaching it using a few screws and the tape :/ so many more tek screws were in order. I actually need to buy a new one, this has seen better days :P

So...

Picked up the car from ASG today after the Grimmspeed EBC and the headers had been installed.

Very, very happy.

Nice gains and peak torque at 4k

Still running BP98, may consider running e85 in the near future.

The car now pulls like a train;

Small update;

Whilst trying to compete with a certain Silver 02 STI I just got off the phone with Troy at PSR;

ID1000's
DW300 (e85 compatible)
Dom 1.5 XTR 8cm rear housing
Silicone Inlet

Booking into ASG for fitting and retune in the next couple of weeks

Should hopefully see some nice power and torque. Troy mentioned his Bug STI made 250kw @ the hubs with the same mods listed on a safe tune. (with a FMIC and other goodies no doubt) OEM STI cooler will be the limiting factor.

Awesome, look forward to seeing the new numbers from the 1.5xtr.

Does e85 compatible pump and new injectors = e85 tune?

it makes good sense really as the older ecu's limit what sean can do in terms of tuning for E85. Do you park outside at night ?
