I think it was a fair question to ask if you don't know the people involved? I don't know Spektre or Kamimages and was curious why they have sponsors stickers on the car too.

I'm seeing a few 'sponsorship' things around (i.e. your signature) and personally (and given what has happened in the past) if you are gaining from things, there should be nothing to hide.
MadDocker and RUSSGT like this.

In my opinion the question of who the sponsorship was buy was fair but the deals reached to get to having their sponsorship completely up to whether the owner wants to tell us.

I mean, is it rude for me to ask how much on an hour and what benefits you get at work?

Details of any 'sponsorship' are always confidential and I don't think anyone is asking the nitty gritty like that?

My take was seeing a list of 'sponsors' and stickers going on a car just seemed odd at this point of time of the build. (Again, not knowing the owners of the car or the racing history / plans to warrant sponsorship) Finding out they are work related answered the question for me as I can assume the others are providing a service/product/discount for the promotion on the vehicle.

In regards to other aspects of the forum, if you are receiving a discount for promoting (either by posts, PM, signatures) any business - make it clear as you don't want it to be found out later mmmkay!

And back to cars that can do skids.

Couldnt disagree more. Would you go ask a v8 supercar team / wrc / even local pedler, franz, searcy etc... I cannot understand how you think it is any of your business..

It is totally irrelevant what he is getting from supplier / supporter to you.
If he has gotten off his but and gone and asked the question, all the best to him.. Or he is supporting his employers who may be allowing him time and resources to support his motorsport ambitions, could be giving him $5k..... Nothing to do with anyone else. It may also be sensitive to the "sponsor"..

Sure You can be curious, but I think it is somewhat rude to ask.. Because I dont know you from a bar of soap, but how often do you and your wife have sex?? is that ok? or none of my business... Maybe an extreme example, but makes the point i believe.

LOL at all the sooks crying about how its sensitive info. Get over yourselves! I just dont see what events/series/racing this car does or will do. Therefore wondering about sponsors and why they would sponsor it? But its their own buisnesses and local buisness that will be offering some deal. Why is it such an offensive thing to ask?
