STI Forries pre03 are exactly the same as WRXs. EJ205 with WRX heads, 4pots, 4.444 5sp box.

Same as a MY00 GC8, except 4.444 box rather than a 3.54.

the halfcut i saw was an sti model , anyway the turbo forester(from what i've read) still has 260hp stock so i'm happy and i'll get the car on a dyno after to see what it really is making.

Oh and no brembos
260hp at the flywheel.

Why not try to find a 6speed while you're at it? Saves doing two conversions? Shame its only a WRX conversion but it will still be a night and day difference from the RX. Thought about shoving a VF34 on at the same time? Good luck with it all.

When i take the car in i'll try and get a 6 speed and a few other things will be upgraded while its there, from what others have said i'll just need a good exhaust,tune,upgraded fuel pump and i should be able to get 300hp atw easily

Build a 207 , the car is going in to jws on the 14th and it should take about 7 ~10 days to fit everything.

You'll need a bigger turbo than the vf34 to make 300hp atw as far as I know.

What "others"? Mine is running 300atw but its a significantly more advanced engine, with a bigger turbo and 25% more capacity. I dont think you'll get the 300 you are hoping for "easily".......possibly 300hp engine?
