Jester -

-knew Subaru's
-Had Stace by his side along with others whos knowledge would equal Subaru's
-Had an entire equipped garage to do the work
-Plethora of cars to pilfer parts, swap, do deals for etc.
-Used kneepads to get cheap parts

Comparing this to a person who has fundamentally no mechanical skill (no disrespect, I dont either)

Getting the motor and box in will be relatively easy.

Wiring the car = pain. Or AT Autos in QLD could do you a loom already ready to rock for 1k or so.

I wont even list the issues of bringing the interior and exterior up to standard.

Fuck I LOL'd.

Thread is so full of retard. Punching myself in the face will net a better result.

Only advice left to offer is - You want cheap help? Boyfriend/husband a man who is very mechanically capable with an averaged sized penis so it won't hurt too much, offer him anal sex 2-3 times a week and then ask him to spend the other 4-5 nights of the week working on your car while you sell your body as this exercise will cost you at least double what you think it will.

Hmmm... I did the entire sti 6 speed conversion, drive train, hubs, struts, and all... I got it from a GD at seagull spec, I did all the work myself in the carport with 2' jack stands lol so it can be done and I knew next to nothing about subies... but somehow, it still cost me around $2k lol, lots of little things add up!!

In my defence I am a diesel mechanic but hey, kenworth, Volvo, subaru... its all essentially the same lol... in hindsight I should have taken it to a garage... it will cost heaps in those un seen, unexpected costs otherwise
