Why would you go from a 2.5 to a 2.13

I'm sure MSR would give me discount for 2 new engines

Surely you'd think something like a fuel pump would qualify as a necessary part of a conversion if fitting an uprated engine...

I had the same issue with mine, went to fit a Walbro and discovered an untouched fuel pump cover and the N/A pump inside.

LOL if you actually want to bother with RW next year, sell your car and buy a skyline.

The donor car for my wagon is a 97 STI and had 31k on the clock. I don't doubt they are genuine Km's either. As for being thrashed, show me any car on these forums that hasn't had a good flogging at some point. It's why we own them.

^ driving hard maybe. But something like thrashing a cold engine would do more damage and I doubt most enthusiasts here does that.

Cat that was very unlucky, just remember success is around the corner to don't give up.

Have you got an official diagnosis? Was it ECU, N/A pump, bad motor? I've read since pg 40 and its not clear.

Also, did you go over the pits to update the Dep Transport for the modification to your car? What was involved?
