Agreed, they are a piece of piss to change, especially in a GC8. I did mine in about 30 minutes!

Guys, the fuel pump could well have been changed. It just wasn't changed to a Walbro. The history of the pump was unknown/questionable so it was renewed to rule out one possible point.

Small update time...

Went to the motorplex yesterday and had an absolute blast, the last couple of times I went I was bummed because I'd hit a wall and could not get any better than a 14.7 but not last night .
First run of the night I set my dccd full lock and was blipping the throttle to 2.5/3rpm and as soon as the 3rd orange light flickered BAM I was outta there and got a 14.035

I'm starting to learn how to actually drive this car and throughout the night I got better and gained confidence and continued to get 13.8s, 13.7s and the best time to date 13.691 @103.68mph and taking into consideration I'm on shitty drift tyres which if I take off aggressively enough will spin through first I'm pretty darn happy with the times and can't wait to compare once I get the ecu, tune and AD08s.

Ohh and nothing went bang
