got a quick question, does anyone know what the load rating is for a gc8 STI?
My car doesn't have a tyre placard and I'm guessing that the rating would be lower for the NA Impreza compared to the STI anyway.

I'm just trying to make sure I get a suitable tyre for racewars and at the moment I'm looking at Federal 595's but they only have a load rating of 91, is that enough ?

rsr's are a cheap and cheerful version of r-comps, better suited to twisty work, wyile airstrip aint exactly a high level grip surface

i know the load rating for foresters are 93 as they have the larger cargo area & built in roof rack rails, 87 seems to come to mind for the impreza's??

After Racewars I will be doing lots of twisty work so they'll have to do for the strip as well
Slap Dash likes this.

The ones I have have been working "OK" for rallysprint as they heat up quick.
Still nowhere near a proper r-comp though.

They were useless after 3 laps at barbs, although it was a hot day.
They got way to hot and just squirm about everywhere.

I won't be doing rallysprint for a while but I do want to do barbs :/ I'll get them and see for myself what they are like, I'll probably end up with multiple sets of wheels with different tyres to compare what works best for me anyway.

What are they like in the rain Dave ?
