Here's the list

Panel work seems relatively straight although the left front rail has been pulled and straightened from previous front end accident. Could have other bogged up panels I did not notice.
Roof has a lot of bog in it. Odd for so much bog in roof (maybe from container damage during import from Japan or something more sinister)
Turbo is cacked (seals going)
Fuel pump is cacked
Blown head gasket(s)
Fuel injectors are probably well fouled from sitting for so long
Wiring has been bodged during splicing to put later model loom into it (V2-V4).
Clutch is on its way out
Didn't check the gearbox serial numbers however may have a mis-matched rear diff. Dooesn't seem to have the JDM RA close ratio box in it, so probably whatever box the front cut had (which is why the rear diff may be mis-matched)
RH rear hub/or wheel bearing is noisey enough you can hear it whilst driving. Didn't jack it up to check the other wheels.
Didn't check the brake pads, hwoever all rotors are well scored.
Has had a few heavy belts underneath, looks like kerb damage, could have bent trailing and/or lower control arms if the car has seen kerbs.
Didn't open the boot to check for rear end panel damage.
Will need a re-spray
Struts are all cactus. Springs have been cut down to lower car.
Driver's seat belt buckle cactus
Tyres are shot
15" wheels are not much chop.
Battery cactus
Trans seems OK, however I only puttered it up the road in low gears due to other discovered mechanical issues.

The owner is a nice guy and didn't seem to know much about the car or its previous history.
IMO it would need a lot of work to bring it up to a reliable Club/track day car.
WOW good job, you went over that puppy with a fine tooth comb. But you missed the most important thing, you cant check yourself out in the drivers side mirror as its not there.

Thanks for that, should end anyone entertaining thoughts of buying it. Even if virtually free its still poor value.

It's also missing a gearbox x-member bolt. Car is well summed up by rally.

This would only be good as a parts car.

LOL. I have just seen all the more recent posts in here.

I know Matt Kenny and that whole crowd well, partied too hard with them years ago and no, he has never owned this car.

Nor does it have any stolen parts on it (up until I sold it anyway, it looks like nothing much has changed)

Yes it's been thrashed, yes its had a lot of knocks. I won't go into any more detail as I can't be bothered, but don't but this car unless you want it for parts and get it fucking cheap. She's a boonga/lemon/headache.

End. of. story.
