English Grammar 101 that should help your spelling of "tintanium" Russ

Off :p

I'll think about it ;)
Trolling hat on:

Please change your sig. Im sick of seeing "Tintanium TBE" when you have a friking titanium tip. Totally devalues REAL Ti exhausts.

Off now:

Yea doesn't make any sense... why would they even have a db meter.
There's nothing around it.
You need to understand the history of it. Years ago there was an old bloke who would complain, so no cars out there past about 5pm. The club used to get 2 days a year on the long track for Easter Monday and on a weekend for eoyb but now it's basically impossible to get it due to the v8s. Couple years ago they gave us a chance to run on the long track in the evening because we have supported the venue and have a good reputation. It's worked out ok but if old mate (assuming his still alive) complains again it will probably stop and we'll only get long track during the week or for the Sprint rounds. That's why he was checking. You can argue the validity of the rules (eg fkn loud airport, highway, train lines next door) but end of the day it's their venue and we're lucky to have it.

Pretty sure most of the noise was the screeching tyres generated by the terminal understeer you had going on :)

RUSSGT 19-12-2013 04:39 PM

baahahhaahha gold! Love me some sliding tread blocks aching for help!

RJ999 19-12-2013 05:18 PM

Ok makes sense now...didn't know about this
You need to understand the history of it.............................. we're lucky to have it.
LOL took me a while to figure out that going hot into that one corner wasn't going to help... and to be honest I was trying to do a "drift a la RussGT" in that corner a few times... but only managed to understeer heaps with the super hot melting pirellis (Russ why you show me that awesome video at RAC! Now that's all I want to do there hahaha)

and also I'm on a mission to destroy those shitty Pirellis so I can get AD08Rs
LOL

Doug's tips and Nauli's tips finally put some sense into me and that corner... now at peace with it

:D

Lol dccd all the way to rear and pin the throttle on corner exit if you want to be like Russ, although his car had a little more power and torque everywhere.

Just buy the AD08s already they are awesome. Some nice rims too :)

RJ999 19-12-2013 05:30 PM

I had my DCCD on auto throughout almost all of the afternoon and only had the balls to take it to green in the last 45mins... I wish I did this earlier, soooo much better on a race track with DCCD on green.

I was worried as the last time I tried that on the skidpan in March, I spun out heaps, but that was before sways and other suspension mod, this time it was BUUUUUUUtiful :D next time DCCD on green is the first thing Im going to do, wont have to fight the diff then. :p
