Update
So I ordered an ej207 semi closed forged bottom end. Not here yet so I got busy with other stuff. She's got an earlier model front end cause heaps cheaper. Have used a big hammer and everything fits ok after the damage in the front. I try to keep telling myself "it's only a track car"
I'm going to prep the panels for some paint soon and drop engine in.... So thanks to my hectic work schedule I've haven't had a chance to do much on my subie. I've only managed to remove all the car panels and prep for paint and finished off the engine build.
I'll get to work on it a lot more in the next few months, I ended up using higher a new high flow oil pump, head studs, full timing and water pump kit. Full gasket kit. Stechnic helped me out with a couple of new camshaft pulleys |
