Got out to no limits last night, first time driving on the track, was bloody good fun! Only had 3 or 4 fast laps, the car was getting hot and the ecu was pulling power out of it. Surprising amount of grip even thought it was quite wet.

second lap would have been heaps faster but i grabbed the wrong gear, twice (doh!) and finished up with a 1.13, hanging to see what it does in the dry

Default Version 5 - Type R Coupe

I'm surprised your car was getting hot with wet weather? Especially at night, I don't see how intake temps could get that high?

yeah, was hitting 100 degrees - standard shitty radiator isnt efficient enough with the FMIC i'd say. I'm going to fit a PWR radiator so that should fix it

I don't think 100 degs is a problem when you're hooning around barbs. I'd see how it goes on a hotter day.

I was sitting around 100-110 today at RAC after 3 laps, sure it was a warmer day but mine will do that on a cooler night at barbs too after a few laps on the noise.

Nice to meet u Josh, I am completely smitten with ur car. That was my favourite car in the original Gran Turismo and not much has changed since really! Do u have access to hoist?

and you dave!

A buddy of mine has a hoist that I do some of the more straight forward stuff on - the more technical/dirty/too hard basket stuff i send it to Cade at Racing Dynamics.

Recently got Oli at Westcar Detailing to give her some love, he did a fantastic job

Yep. Beautiful. The 1973 Porsche RS of the Subaru world. Well almost...just ignore that 22B thing... A great car either way and will only become cooler with the passage of time.
