Default Version 5 - Type R Coupe

Hi all,

Picked this up of a member, heres a bit of a rundown of how its kitted out now;

Type R conversion (quick rack/dccd/roof vent)
6 speed
autronic SMC
turbodynamics gt28 size turbo
full 3" HKS hi power
cusco coilovers
v6 limited interior
v6 lip
18" Prodrive P1WRC

Made 230kw at the wheels on 19psi and its a heap of fun!

have some brembos sussed, and i'll do the wheels at the same time - i cant deal with how hard it is to keep these things clean.

I saw you swinging this round the motorkhana on Sunday. I was in the dark grey supercharged Elise that got 1 run and took out every marker on the slalom with my mirrors

Looks like the handling is well sorted and it sounds mint. Nice car

Your mates Porsche was hot too

Oh i saw you parked up! That would have been a fun rig to chuck around. Dont feel bad, i took out a couple myself.. I felt the courses were way too tight, i didnt get out of first gear, and on the second course - i couldnt build enough speed between markers for the handbrake to be effective. Oh well, it was free, cant complain i guess!

One thing i did take away though is that whatever brake pads i have, stink. It was sponge city. Need the brembos before i'll go punt it around the track with any confidence

Some good pads and good fluid will go a long way to improving performance.
