Anything under m12 is a no no if you get scrutineered for an event.
Ivan from GoGear was the one who put me on to the AGI bar which is held by the four 10mm rear strut mounts. He said he would happily pass the bar at an event...

Gordon what material is your Arai bar made from?

correcto... 2 (c) seems to clear it up, pretty sure when I was looking at trying to get a harness bar set up for my forester it was 12mm.. I was doing a lot of crack back then though...

For some unknown reason I was always under the impression TE37s were either very difficult to get to fit to a STI or near impossible. It was one (of a few) of the major reasons I didn't buy one a year or so ago!
What size did you go for? And were they a tough fit? o.o
Car looks nice (only checked first page so far) - The screens and red not to my taste, but everyone has their own style!

Thx. Still deciding about colour scheme.

Its a straight fit with hubsentric rings, size is 18x9.5 +38. It one of the early model. It came off a 05sti, so I know it will fit.

After some trail and error, finally got i think the best way to mount 4 point harness on GR/GV/GH WRX and STI.

U will need three 50mm 7/16'' eyebolt (can be bought from go gear(NOR) or revolution racing(SOR)), one 1.5'' 7/16'' high tensile bolt, ARAI motorsport strut brace(see post #4). NO MAJOR MODIFICATION NEEDED.

Shoulder belt angle is in cams requirement(about 30 to 40 degree depends on ur height, but not the best (less than 10 degree). Lap belt angle is good though.

With RS40 (Allpaws) and other recaro equiped STIs, HKS Kansai seat rail has lateral beam connecting two sides and can further lower ur seat by 15mm(see photos attatched. Link:
https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/20602

U can fold it back if not on race track, it wont block the stitching for the airbag.

Note: U can mount two rear points on rear seat belt mounting position with shorter eyebolt, but the selt belt degree is not optimal, can damage ur collar bone in an accident.

A bit of update.

As I mentioned in another thread, the car is using about 800ml of redline 10w40 per 1000km with AOS and a catch can! Car doesn't lose power. Just did a compression test and leak down test, result comes out fine, but cylinder one and three spark plug are a bit wet near the washer, the other two are completely dry.

Will switch to Penrite tenth racing 10W40 next week, and check for seal leak. Presumably its just blow by.

Had great fun on RAC track yesterday, but I had a few questions wanna ask experienced Pwrx member.

Here is link to my oil pressure/boost log:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-TH...ature=youtu.be

My car is tuned to 130 kpa, i understand a bit boost spike is normal, but on 3rd gear, boost went to 140kpa and hold there (boost creep?). Furthermore, CEL (p0244 boost solinoid range) went on after a big surge occurred and boost went to 160kpa (not shown in the video, solinoid tuned to have boost cut at 150kpa). I was told I need a electronic boost controller, but could it be other reasons, like high flow cat, blocked waste gate, low AFR(tuned to 10 at WOT).

Thanks in advance.
