If you haven't got one already, get a new seal for the top of the fuel tank before you do the fuel pump. Mine was reused when my Walbro went in, leak was that bad that you could see where the fuel had been running down the side of the tank after a drive.

Will be getting a new gasket! Cheers mate

Update!

Today I had the beast tuned!

Made 275.4hp atw with 369nm!
At 22 psi and drops of to 18psi.
Safe to say it's absolutely mental and such a big power gain !

I'm amazed you haven't sold and purchased an 02 STI. So much good advise in this thread from people who have already gone down that familiar street.

I have contemplated about selling it for a 02 STI but right now I really enjoy my WRX how it is and how it drives! Maybe further on down the track I may take the stab and go for a STI right now I'm just going to enjoy the WRX

As costley as it is, you do learn heaps, and it is rewarding progressing building it how you want it. Other than that, yeah don't do it.

Should have bought an STI

Yeah something I have to toss up over time.. Would love to convert it myself but as you guys said it's costly! Have I wait and see how it plays out
