Forgot to post about the GC8 getting. Wheel alignment from John Fowler Autosport couple weeks ago the car had not had a wheel alignment since the conversion and I just did a toe and go at work when the front control arms went in so i thought i would get John to give it a setup and see how it goes
Also got some new swag bar links as the old ones were fubar cheers to wilkinson's suspension Hope it makes the car much better to drive 230kw 420nm GC8 on E85 |

With Jack's hill climb this sunday and it being a Club Motorsport championship round thought I would treat the car to a few goodies
Fresh fluids Fresh filters Brakes bled the Subaru workshop manual way (instead of the Toyota way I was tought) Sold my passenger seat to a friend jack and bought this new Velo Apex seat and have been adjusting it for a few weeks now And bought a go pro to finally put in the car to review and go over my footage captured Keen to belt the car this sunday ! 230kw 420nm GC8 on E85 |

So I went out to Jack's hill yesterday and had a bloody blast ! The car did not fault and it was so strong all day other than having incorrect tyre pressures for the 1st run of the day it was a pretty smooth outing ! The last time I was there I managed a 57.8* and that's as hard as I could push and left it at that came back with a new wheel alignment new brakes new seat and more power expecting to beat my time
1st run with shitty tyre pressures i did a 57.040 and i was stoked ! Lowered the pressures and went out again 2nd run and did a 56.902 and was happy as I promised my self to try and get a 55 second run and on the final 3rd run of the cams challenge track I drove a little harder resulting in coming off the track slightly but pushed harder after to make up time and did a 55.953 it was a great layout! Then came the next layout and I got faster and faster again over the runs I was very happy with the out come then jacob Ayres came up to me and said his car had a problem and had called it a quits and said would you like to take my spot next week at the cams club challenge and I could not say no ! Everyone I'm in front of me had a Yoko A050 and I was on the Yoko AD08R So I got the news today that I have been put into team #2 for the CAMS club challenge this week at Jack's hill I will be replacing the very capable Jacob but due to some problems with his car he has had to pull out I'm very happy to say that I will do my best to make sure the decision to put me into the team was the right one ! I'm super excited and very eager to help out the WRX Club of Western Australia try and win 1st and 2nd place and improve my time over the weekend Very happy with the results from yesterday. I'm hoping I do those awesome lads proud ! So bring on the weekend and try to bring home the wrx club some money and bragging rights ! 230kw 420nm GC8 on E85 Last edited by REXXXED 2.0; 30-07-2018 at 05:38 PM. |

30 cold will be too much. I would usually start at mid to high 20s when cold. Aiming for 30-32 hot.
