upgraded injector values
A vr5 STi njector is rated at 550cc right? So if swaping for a 720cc , what would be the new values?
Should be less than 100% and buggers me about the latency values too. . . Currently I just put it at 65% and +0.03ms BUT its still spewing black smoke at the exhaust AND u could smell fuel frm the engine bay |

Apexi PowerFC FAQ
The yellow injectors you pulled out should be 440's not 550's I believe. The injector size correction number seems close enough. It should be 61 though. The latency correction will depend on the brand of injector that you had / changed too. Is your MAF ok?

The correction factor for the sizing will go from what injector size the car with from factory, not what injectors were last in the car though.
Any information I am giving you on here is not to be taken as being true, you will have to check for yourself. You really need a wide band & correct latency values to be messing with this stuff though. There is a very good chance you will do damage. Also those injectors in the photo, if they are the ones you are replacing are side feeds not top feeds. I believe the correction should be 0.13. But YOU need to check this. Injector latency - You will be looking for 720cc Denso injectors. Greddy are just rebranded Densos. Fuel Injector Lag Time

Can you post up a screen shot of your fuel map?
Have you access to a wideband sensor / gauge?

The fuel map looks "OK". You need to do one of 3 things as I see it.
1. Go to a proper shop & get it checked / tuned. 2. Plug in a wideband AFR meter and actually have a look at what the car is doing. 3. Consider you may have a problem with your MAF / AFM also causing over fuelling. There are other parameters too in the FC that can make a change in fuel settings, such as TPS, Accel Inj, cold start enrichment..... All of these need to be changed using either Apexi software or a Datalogit. Are you in Perth or Brunei?
