Calling it as I see it Russ, nothing more. I'm glad he tried to do the right thing, and you would think the cops would come to the party on that subject and it is a bit of a dog act (sic), but the way I see it, people need to be accountable for their actions, especially coming into the silly season.

I've tried the same thing. Walking to my car after a few drink, I passed a cop sitting in his car (NB at about 10pm), so asked him to bretho me.
Wasn't interested, he said if i thought i may possibly be over, dont drive. Lazy fucks.

In the defense of Police, they don't really want to be seen as giving people a false sense of security. You have to keep in mind that even if you're under the limit, alcohol still affects judgment and motor skills.

Pretty sure your readings go up for a further 4 hours after the last drink so imagine the shit they would be in if they said yeah you're fine to drive & you wrap it around a tree 30 min later killing your passenger...........But officer XXXX said I was ok to drive, fucked if I'd test you either.
