if its the new type i think they can get both cars (if they are both speeding) or just single out the one which is.
not singling you out Daz, but i can never understand why people whinge about cameras being placed at the bottom of hills. Keeping in mind the inherent reduced braking ablitiy going down an incline, i cant see why people think its unfair to have their speed checked just as if they were on the flat. |

i'm not really complaining about being done, if i was doing 60 in a 50 zone i'm the first person to admit it was my own stupid fault, just gotta grin and bare it...however...i am annoyed about the positioning of the camera...i was accelerating uphill from a red light at a set of traffic lights on quite a steep incline...quite difficult to maintain such a slow speed as 50 until the incline grades off without really having the engine chugga chugga (as i call it)...wot i'm more curious about now is whether these new cameras focus in on a single rego plate or will still encompass the general vicinity, in which case there is more than one car it can't be proven which car was travelling at which speed
i agree maintaining a constant speed downhill should not be an issue _daz_

i thought i addressed your question on the cameras identifying multiple plates/speeders.
the new type definately can single out cars - but i didnt think they were using the new ones yet. to maintain 50 uphill you probably should have been in a lower gear. |

ohhhh well...bit more cash to the government coffers never hurt anyone...just have to try and stay in first gear at all times uphill from now on it seems...

what car do you drive? i would have thought 2nd gear was sufficient.

so would i, but not in this case it seems, any slower at the time car would have been chugging along, not good not good...but my queries have been answered which is all i required...gracias amigo
