this is one of those times you should have acted dumb, apologised, explained the car was like that when you bought it.... and you just might have gotten away with a warning

I hate HID lights they are too bright and I think that every car has them has there high beams on but thats my 5 cents

shame about the yellow

went on a first date with a girl a few weeks back. she says "nice car" etc , which is all good. we get into my car and before i start it she says "you know one thing i hate though, people with those blue headlights, i cant see when im driving towards them". i pause for a bit and go "oh ok". turn on the car with my lights (HID's). she says to me "oohh".

FAIL haha

HID's are stupid unless your car has the correct projector lights for them.

every time i see some c**t in the country with poorly adjusted/aftermarket Hid's i just blind the fuck out of them with my spotties.
all these things do is blind on-coming traffic and when your doing 110 at 11pm in the bush there is nothing worse than being blinded by some useless f**k with these blue lights

What do people think of those uber bright LED daytime running lights on all the new euro cars?

Not as bright/blinding as some of the bad HID's you see at night.

Also daytime =/= nighttime for blinding glare.

Very true..But what if he had not or had no idea the lights were not legal? Yellow sticker anyway because they look to bright? Or a few words of advice and a fine for improper use of lights? Does the police office know what is standard fit equipment on a Subaru?

My sandy vag moment was more about cases like this or where people get pulled over and stickered for something that LOOKS to low or SOUNDS to loud without actually measuring anything and even if the owner of the car produces documents supporting the modifications legality.
