You can spend a fair bit of money and appeal it but I don't like your chances.
Oh and it's Disqualification and Licence But seriously there is a lot of faults with the system, so I hope you have some good luck with the appeal if you decide to go that way!

yeah the judge didnt want to hear my side of the story, if DPI sent out a letter saying your licence is disqualified from this date then i wouldnt have drove, sitting in court and i was getting angry as all hell people getting done for DD and only getting another 3 months, whats more dangereous to the public?

Get pulled over alot or something?? :P
Unlucky mate, but I agree with JDM, not worth appealling. You may get a bit of lenience in for the fact that you were caught so close to your suspension date; but it would be to the officer's discretion, and he would be completely within his rights to enforce the law as it is written. Unfortunately for you, if you had taken proper notice of the original registered post warning notice, you wouldn't have been put into your current situation. I hope you work something out though mate! |

Jeremy Noble... maybe.
Usually you start double or nothing when your licence ticks over for renewal. I lost my last point in early June, but didn't start double or nothing until July 23rd, when my licence was renewed. |
