Yes I'm sure after a horrendous event like this seeing the cops turn up AFTER THE FACT will be of great comfort.
People become cops because they are fucking useless at everything else, just a bunch of fat dumb fucks that can suck my dick, they are all just jealous of the cars we drive cause cause they are just absolute fuckheads.

Then again this country isn't far off from being fucked

Man I feel better now :D
You do know there are several cops that frequent this forum.. not the best way to make friends. I personally have no issue with the police.. haven't done anything wrong though. I know they are under funded and under paid.. they spend most of their time doing the jobs that nobody else will do.. but hey that's just my opinion.

Talk about over generalization. You've got serious issues if you believe this claptrap you've posted. If it were my choice you'd have a forum holiday.

lol a bit over the top there mate... although some cops are just assholes in general. i agree with that. especially when they stereotype. eg. i was going about 10km over the limit on a country road, and the car in front of me was slowly getting further in front of me. who did the cop pull over? me. because i had a p plate.. he then gave my car a full inspection, despite it being completely stock at the time.

but in all fairness. it's their job to pull you over for speeding. to inspect your car if it's modified. you can't blame THEM for your illegal choices. deal with it.

Not this shit again.

If you drive around in traffic all the time with:
- full beam on
- spotlights on
- indicators on
- fog lights on
then you are a tool who is not only ignorant of the road rules but also towards other road users and deserve to be fined.

Kato 13-04-2011 09:01 PM

I love how people complain about getting picked on for their illegally modified cars.

skippp 13-04-2011 09:38 PM

I have to agree with some on here, people either sitting behind me or coming towards me with the on is just as annoying as someone with high beams on. Clearly the rule is there for a reason, if not only to prevent accidents but making driving at night easier for other drivers.
That being said, I'm training to be a cop once I leave uni... :p

Ok, I'll put my 2 cents worth in to this discussion.
I have a great respect for those who work in law enforcement, those who do their job to the best of their ability when having to deal with the dregs of society on a daily basis.

Here's my C.S.B on one encounter that I feel could have been handled better by the officers involved. It was 2am a few days before Christmas and I was driving an 8 seater Landcruiser with seven pissed work colleagues home from a bonzer work Christmas party. We get pulled in to a RBT in Forrestfield and they must have thought they had a DUI for sure. These 7 guys were boong drunk, fully Boris Yeltsin drunk, singing away on the back of the 'Cruiser. When I blew 0.00 on the breath-O they should have patted me on the back, said well done buddy, everyone's got a seatbelt and you've not had a drink.

Nope, instead they start inspecting every part of the vehicle, trying to provoke the pissheads etc. Annoyed that they couldn't find anything wrong with a 2 year old Toyota their parting comment was "rego expires this month, get that sorted out...OK!!!"

This was many years ago and I'd almost got over it but a customer of mine had the same thing happen to him last week. On P plates, Zero on the breath-O but instead of a "good on ya" gets a roadside inspection and a defect on his only car.

Heh, reminded me of when I driving people home from Northbridge one night. Saw the booze bus, but rather than dodge it like everyone else, I decided to drive through since I was sober.

Blew 0.00, then got asked out of the car for a sobriety test and quizzed for 10 minutes on what drugs I had taken as "why was I sober in Northbridge".

Fair point as it is a bit of a shithole whilst sober! :D
QFT, if you do nothing wrong, you'll have no issues with the popo
^ not true (as demonstrated in the previous few posts)
I was once pulled up 'randomly' by police and issued with a yellow sticker for bald tyres.
I took the same tyres over the pits.
Pit inspector laughed.
I passed.
?????
Did not profit.

Doing nothing wrong can just mean that you are 'doing nothing wrong at the current time' to police.

EDIT: Kato, Northers is as shithole when drunk too!!
