My fully sik subwoofer blew up in my car today. Bloody stereo was off when it happened too. Just crackled and then no longer works.

1 minute job, find the amp, and check that the fuses are not blown?

Push the dome of the sub inwards (from the centre) about 1/4 of an inch, if you hear NO scraping sounds, it is fine.

the 2 white things, blade fuses are most likely on car amps, and check in the engine bay for in-line fuses:
