Being mucked around by reputable work shop. Car was meant to be booked for the 9th but had to change to the Weds 10th (cos workshop, not me), fine since getting tuned at other workshop on Fri 12th. Still heaps of time. Getting rocker cover gaskets fixed and told sealant needs to cure over night.
Went to pick up car this morning after saying i'd pick it up 'tomorrow morning' yesterday morning when i dropped it off and when i first inquired, they said that'd be fine. Got there 11am, wasn't ready. "should have called first", "be ready at 5". 1 hour public transport there, 1 hour public transport back home. 2 hours wasted. Pretty annoyed. Getting close to 5. This time I call to be safe.. no answer. Keep calling between 4 and 4:30, no answer. I need the car cos it's getting tuned tomorrow and wanted to change out oil and put on y-pipe. Didn't want to miss them and it takes a while to get there so I go. Get there through peak hour traffic, and it's not ready! Then drive back through peak hour without my car which is booked for tune tomorrow. Thought getting someone else to do the work for a change would be relaxing and trouble free, it's not!! =( Last edited by gazlaz; 11-08-2011 at 06:34 PM. |

Sorry Gazlaz,
I am stuck in between a very hard place at the moment. The hoist that should have been up has not been completed as this company keeps mucking me around. Their workmen have trempled all over the workshop today, in and out and I am sorry for the delay. We can only work on your car with jack stands and everytime they move the heavy equipment in, we gotta lower it back down, push it aside and put it back up. Parts have all been degreased and ready to put back on. It is not your problem but ours and I can only apologise for it. Regards, Mao Quote:

Since I am on this, I will let it all out. Statewide Hoist has fucked me around over 10days now just installing the 4-poster and moving over my 2-poster I lost my head yesterday when they left the work half finished and did noo return to complet the job. After asking for more money today and demanding an upfont payment with no receipt, I paid for the job and they have not finished the job still. They said that they would not return part of my hoist if they did not see payment as yet ----- wtf? the job is not finished.
They will return in the morning to complete the job --- they said. Also, they have not done the electrical connections and have told me to get my own electrician. I am stuck in a very difficult position, as it is hard to work with all the furniture and equipment strewn all over the workshop. Have spoken to my lawyer but what's the point when only a few thousand dollars a involved --- was his advice. More pain, no gain as the job would not even have a chance to be completed until the lawsuit is over. |
