Nah, there were about 5 of them at a road block.....me no play with Thai cops, they had the little traffic office right next to where they had about 20 bikes pulled over at a time so you walked about 4m and paid, no escape from this one, possibly would have been less of a fine if I had my license with me but the bike shop are willing to take it as a deposit for the scooter so figure it's easier to escape with a passport than a plastic license
