ps: When they buy you a new boot to install at the panel beaters (assuming thats also farked), tell them to buy an impreza one (will be cheaper for their quote) and install the STI spoiler at the same time?

The boot wasn't damaged at all (or so it appears).
P.s. I already have an impreza boot on my car and the oem boot in the spare room
I was actually going to drop off the spoiler this weekend with the hopes of having it on the car next weekend for the skid pan.

Looks like I won't be participating the skid pan any more, better bump that thread.

It is the skid pan from Kym being held on the 18th of March, PM session.
First reserve has been messaged in regards to the opening.

On the plus side, I have nominated Neil to do the repair work.
Will see him this week hopefully for an assessment and will get him to install the sti spoiler at the same time the car goes in.
