Having half my dash apart and realising I am 2 screws short! Then coming back home after putting the dash back together for the trip to Bunnings and the light has gone... I should have got those portable halogen flood lights whilst I was there.

Aaaaah fk it, time to crack a beer and do it next weekend instead.

Lad, I think all the extra money they get from the Carbon Tax will be used to replace those camera's in your house!

haha, it is called DIY... and losing the last screw/not/bolt is rule #2...

Below: #1 - cut yourself on any edge, of any surface, on your car
Above: #3 - make as much mess as possible when you are actually trying to confine the mess to one area.

So many memories of #1 & #2...

Nothing against ANY workshop or tyre place but...

RATTLE GUNS don't have to be used for nuts on your swheels. I rotated my tyres yesterday and had to use a 1M pipe + my telescopic wheel wrench to get them loose. If you are on the side of the road with a flat and you can't get the nuts off you are farked. However for a guy (and experianced Gals) thats fine because we can usually work around it, uses breaker bars, stand on it, etc... so overall annoying but bearable.

So I made my Girlfriend (fair swithced on mechanically) change 2 of hers so she knows how to do it and so that she knows she can do it by herself. I had to stand on my wrench and extension/pipe to loosen them up, and I am 78KG!

Next time remember to loosen the nuts before you jack the car up. It will make the whole job a lot easier . . .
