Dropped my sister in law off in Northbridge and came back to the car only for it not to start. One tow to STechnic later I find out the Brant system I paid another workshop to be removed and replaced with an Autowatch, is in fact still attached and operating and of course is stopping the car from starting. Had to hire a car to be able to get to work and still have no idea how I'm going to pick up the car after its fixed. Pretty fucking angry when I paid a workshop to do a job and finding out its not been done at all. I am though very grateful for Damien at STechnic for fitting me in on what seemed a really busy day and also for the lift to Carousel in the heat.

Heard before that some people do not remove the full system properly. Not sure if being slack or not just fully understanding the system. When it's removed in its entirety, there is a LOT of wiring and shit that comes out.

Sounds like they left the control module in, rookie error, poor effort, much disappoint.

Who was the other workshop.

No, I doubt I would get one even if I did.

STechnic know how to do it properly, as do Platinums, (who did mine).

I had no idea of the reputation issues that Evolution R had when I originally had the Brant removed, well not removed it seems now. I certainly do now though.

Hi, Howlfactor. From memory, we did not fit an Autowatxh Full alarm system on your car. The Brant keypad failed and I installed an Autowaych keypad aystem, while removing the Brant keypad. Primary Brant system was still intact which did not fail at that time.

The Autowatch keypad is under warranty if that bit of it failed. Other than that, we were not commisioned to remove the Primary Brant system and install a full Autowatch alarm system. We only removed the Brant keypad and fitted an Autowatch keypad as stated in receipt.
