A previous business I worked for Used Mao for some parts on vehicles we were building back in the early 00s . We stopped using him the second time we bought stuff off him that was misrepresented. Cant believe he is still trying it on over a decade later.
The product he was supplying was nearly identical and nearly the same quality . But why not just say what it is if its comparable , shit some people save for ages to have that particular brand / product . To be supplied it thinking you got what you paid for and then to find out it isn't is gutting and disrespectful hence why I will never use said services.

Taylor:

The part numbers are on the boxes as well as contact numbers of the supplier in Japan.

The pads are the same with no compound differences. Thet are manufactured by Project Mu and not Aisin and I will happily be proved wrong.

There are photos of the pads i purchased off you with the manufacture codes on them and you have emails from Project Mu Australia confirming that Japan made the front pads 6 years ago and then were re-branded by another supplier and that the rear pads are not anything Project Mu make or distribute.

Would love more details on your supplier as you aren't listed on any of Project Mu's websites as a registered stockist.

You don't have a case for the front ones, Pmu confirmed they were made by them and the compund was the same (who gives a fuck how old they are)

But the rear ones may be a different story, check with EBC as to the part number and go from there.......

EBC do make good pads though...

Look at the back of the box and Japanese supplier is on there whom you can verify.

I was complained against locally for parallel importing last year and moved onto the same pads with different packaging.

So please contact the Japanese supplier whose numbers are on the box and verify. Compounds are the exact same.

Oh no i don't care if you put it out there or not, not my problem! But if the fronts have been found to be true, then logically, there doesn't seem to be an argument to be had there!

Not that i care one way or another, but you had conformation from PMU that the fronts were infact made by them and it is still part of the argument

I personally would be focussing on the rears if i had a suspition, and once confirmed then go about the warning (not that i do that but meh, each to their own i guess)

This doesn't sound like MaoPractice at all.

I know somebody had these same pads and they melted after a few hot laps at RAC.

We've already established in the first post that the compound is the same, project mu japan have confirmed that the rear pad is nothing they have ever made. What box it comes in doesn't concern me, the product code in engraved into the made does.
