while on the subject of licence plates...

recently saw a supra with its front plate painted onto the front.
is this legal?

i know rear must have light, but it it law to have the reflective plate, front and back?

(yes im aware that it most likly is. just this car has questioned the legalities)

Yeah thats illegal.

People do it thinking they are clever, until they are fined for it.

both front and rear number plates must be made of reflective material to be legal

im pretty sure its a yellow...

and there would be some fine like "failing to display issued licence plates" or something shit like that. Ive seen heaps of cars with them as stickers.. as long as its reflective, there shouldn't be a problem with that.

Has Brendan (WREXX) even replied in this thread yet? seeing as tho he is the man in the know!

As far as im aware, the plates and the car need to be under the same name. Im in the same situation. Put the plates under dads name.
