one or two *light* coats of black paint will make it disapeer behind your bumper, but make sure you either take it out completely or mask off very well.

do'n't do what polarbear did and lay it on thick with a paint brush

hahaha hmm the thick "bomb it on" approach does not seem to have harmed my car or the cooler and the paint has not flaked after 6 months.

PS I put a whole can onto the cooler just for shits and giggles.

Maybe it has chopped my power by 50 or 60 horse hhahaah

I rang this mob up, they only have aluminium stencils of there logo which is understandable. Anyone else done this recently? worst comes to worst ill just make the stencil out of carboard, but want to avoid it, or maybe go for the whole "spray the intercooler black" look

Are there places that can cut out stencils of what you want?

my companys owns a fairly large laser cutting service, i'm sure if a bunch of people wanted a single stencil made up i could arrange something

haha, yep, that's AMC. I Spent a bit of time down there in April/May this year. Here's another pic of the stencil for those interested.
I've since turned the cooler around (was fairly ugly with bent fins from bugs and stones etc..), and also colour-coded the skirts...

got an APS with mine but i prefer to keep it all black, red wrinkle piping.

Not ricer but when the a-pillar goes in i guess that'll change
