Actually yeah i did think about getting a whole new GX bootlid and getting it sprayed WR Blue. I imagine it would be more expensive though

Ah yeah fair enough. What year do you have? I dont have the electronic boot release on the keys only the manual one at the feet so id have to use that if i scrapped the lock. De-badging would be cool though! I wonder how much re-5th dimensioning the boot would be. I should call and find out.

Might be able to come out even if i could sell the wing for a decent price!

Yeah, well im getting alarm put in, which will have boot release solonoid so I can control it by remote, incase the manual (cable) release dies in the ass!

yeah i had someone offer me close to what I was asking, so i went and took it off my car, rang them and said "come get it" and they said... "oh I dont want it anymore"

mate i can do ya a new bootlid at work for $695 painted and fitted.

if you try and weld them up it will warp & buckle and bog will simply shrink back and look shit.

Com'on Chris, u know it looks gd wif the wing on at least on the track.
