Mate its not about the shape, its illegal when it shatters in a million pieces on impact. Just imagine if you unfortunately hit someone.

I could have sworn I read an exact same topic as this on this forum except everyone ended up saying carbon fibre was legal? Anyways if you search you will find it. Also says where to buy carbon fibre bonnets.
