Problem with acrylic paint is that it disolves when you use thinners on it, 2pac doesnt have this problem.

I'ed suggest getting some sort of touch up pen, doesnt subaru give you a lipstick bottle when you purchase the car?

Also be careful and make it as small as possible, as you will notice that the if you use a lot when the paint dry's it will dry almost a black/grey color.

Best solution dab the same spot over a period of time, this way you are slowly fixing the problem. Then when happy polish over the top.

It will never look the same as the rest of the car but by keeping the touchup small it will be a lot less noticable.

factory touch up paints are only way to go, might cost more but well worth it

Did some reading on NAISOC and the paint issue isn't just happening within Australia.

The ones I've seen that Subaru sell don't actually come from Subaru
at all they just buy them from another supplier and get colours which
are the closest to the actual colour on the cars.

I bought 2 touch up colours from Subaru previously, the 1st was Blue
Steel Mica for my CSE3 and the 2nd which was Obsidian Black Pearl
for my 06 and 07 WRX's and none of them were anywhere near the
correct colour and stuck out like dogs balls!

Best to go to a paint and panel shop and get the to mix up a small
pot of your cars exact colour, then steal one of your missus old nail
polish bottles with the little ball inside and clean it out with turps and
fill it with your paint and throw it in your glove box.
