Australian Export spray-on window cleaner.. its in the yellow can and you can get it at Supercheap for like $3. Ammonia free too, which means its safe on tints.

Works pretty well for the most part, even on sticky residue.. but without seeing it in person, I can't see how bad the residue is.

Also before you use anything to clean it off, MAKE SURE YOU DON'T USE ANY WINDOW CLEANER WITH AMMONIA IN IT.. i.e. Windex. It'll f*ck your tints.

Might be worth just wetting a tissue/piece of sponge and placing it over the residue somehow for about 5 - 10 min, sticky tape is not very useful in wet or damp conditions and the glue tends to ball up once it's wet, may be worth a try as it won't hurt your tint

Prepsole - Wax & grease remover, for the sticky stuff that gets left behind.

Can pick up a tin for around $10 for I think around 250ml's worth from Auto One/Supercheap/Repco
