Anyone know if Just car cover hail damage for future reference? My car escaped the hail but i might re-think my policy if they dont cover hail damage.

I looked on their website and i couldn't find anything relating to hail or storms. Will have to ring up.

Yes you are covered for it but you have to pay whatever excess
is on your policy which sometimes can be quite high if your young!

Did a quick search, i'm with HBF too couldnt see anything that stood out just "accidental damage" Hail wasnt as big where i was so i'm praying the car has survived let me know how you get on with HBF.

You pay the excess that's on your policy!!!

Generally if your young it's higher than someone older.

Also yes you have to pay excess even if it's not your fault
because the insurance co can't be reimbursed like if someone
hits you, simple.

Just think of it this way...

Insurance companies take your money.

You make a claim... Insurance companies try to find a loophole in the fineprint to not pay you money. If there are none, then the Insurance companies take your money to fix your car. If your young, they take more money.

You dont make a claim... They still take your money and give you a free windscreen.
