Default Removing wet carpet smell?

The misses' car leaked during the storm and the floorpan carpet got wet beneath the drivers seat & it stinks a bit - anyone got some tips for removing the smell (between now & when the insurance repair works are done in 2013)?

The smell is from the mould. Best bet is remove the carpet and dry it all out.
Then deodorise.

Yeah, rip the seats & console out then the carpet & hit it with a high pressure cleaner, hang it over the line for a couple of days & all should be sweet.

Baking soda worked pretty well on my carpet at home, leave it on for a couple of days and then vacume it up when the carpet is dry. After that use some carpet deodoriser and should be sweet.
