Hi Guys,

In the next couple of weeks i will be pulling the interior out of my wrx hatch, basically just wanting to know what to do with it? would it be a saleable thing to somebody that has a base model and wants a wrx interior? also it will have all 6 airbag ready to come out, what should i do with these?

It is all in top condition so it has to be worth something right?

As i understand it the airbags are worth a fortune!

What do you suggest i do?

Is this still going to be a road going car that is insured?

Removing airbags is not a good thing, best check with your
insurance co what they think.

i would but considering there is a cage going into it i think the airbags have been made redundant

so i am not really worried about the insurance!

i doubt it if LF are going to cage it!

Interior you might have a bit of trouble selling, but could put it up on eBay, and see how you go... Or make yourself some office shairs out of the front's and a 'sofa' outta the rear seats, top gear style... Airbag's I would try flog off to a place like JWS or someone who replaces them, maybe even back to Subaru themselves?

It will be tough to sell.

Front seats would bolt into earlier models, but the earlier seats have better support so are more desirable than the ones out of your MY08. Therefore, tough to sell.

Rear seat wont fit anything but an MY08 onwards, door trims are the same... they are going to be hard to sell as a result.

Airbags are good for someone repairing a wreck, so advertise them or see if a wrecker will buy them off you.
