i have recently been buying 'chemical guys' products off one of our resident detailers, we've all been hounding him to become a vendor on here and do a showcase of his products, they don't come in flash packaging so it keeps the costs down & i have to admit the products i have used have kicked arse over all the autoglym, maguirs, turtlewax & armourall products i've ever used, so come on brett, get on here & show us your wares

In terms of wheel black - I have found that Mother's tyre shine is the best. Not cheap around 27 or so a bottle but lasts the longest in all conditions.

Just to confirm, does the Auto Glym Vinyl and Rubber Care work well on the standard blue STI seats? I think mine need a revitalising pantene pro v conditioner.

Thanks for the write-up. Never tried AutoGlym products, will have to give them a go.

I get most of my stuff from either www.finalinspection.com.au or www.concoursecarcare.com.au. Like to try out new products and P21S100 wax is my alltime favourite.

Mods - worth a sticky?
Hope people will keep contributing links and information for good and bad products alike.

Excellent write up - thanks!

I am also a Auto-Glym 'slut' but there is one Meguiars product that i really like and that's this one:

http://www.meguiars.com.au/productde...subcat=&show=1

Its really good for any faded black plastics - like the front windscreen plenum. I used it all the time on my Alfa and it gives a nice black shine that lasts heaps longer compared to Armorall. Also withstands the rain quite well.

cheers

Dan

Repco keep a fair few of the AutoGlym range. For any products you may want but cant find there, try here... http://www.carcareproducts.com.au/products/autoglym
